Shatta Wale introduced the complete tracklist for his album and also released the cover art for his album yesterday September 14 on the Social Media Week.
Accra Mall and simply as we had anticipated, the album artwork has some controversy once more.
The album artwork for ‘Reign’ sees a picture of Shatta Wale painted with coal sitting on a black and white background with words which means lots to him with a gold chain hanging on his neck to match his gold shade hair. We might see words and phrases like; “Champion, Militants, Dancehall King, Prove Dem Wrong, SM4Lyf and even Majesty’.
Hours after the album artwork was dropped, Social media has pulled an outdated artwork from Rick Ross which has the identical concept as Shatta Wale’s own and as common, some people are castigating him on Social media for ‘stealing’ a foreign artiste’s concept when he might have been inventive sufficient to create his own.
we don’t have an issue with Shatta Wale taking inspiration from one other artist’s work, besides that, we don’t like the image that was used as he seems to be like some ‘Slave’ on it even that, maybe there’s a legit cause why he settled for that.
See Shatta Wale’s Reign album cover artwork below and that of Rick Ross’s own too and inform us what you think.
