Reports emanating from the camp of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) suggest that it has turned it’s attention on the celebrities signed unto the Nana Appiah Mensah-owned Zylofon Media.
The report which was first published by blogging site, Ghpage, said EOCO has expressed interest in seizing, not just the assets of NAM1, but all the assets of his sister company, Zylofon Media.
Shatta Wale’s Ship house Mansion, Becca’s Beauty Spa, Stonebwoy’s 3-bedroom mansion as well as all the assets given to Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Jame Gardiner, Toosweet Annan, Benedicta Gafah, Bibi Bright and Zynell Zuh risk being seized by EOCO.
Sources privy to the contractual terms of the celebrities have revealed that their assets are in the name of Zylofon Media until their contract is over, giving the EOCO the chance of confiscating them if they want.
So technically, Shatta Wale’s mansion, Becca’s Spa which was funded by Zylofon Media, the luxurious cars and others are the properties of Zylofon Media.
Already EOCO has frozen the accounts of Nana Appiah Mensah and has urged the public to come forward with any knowledge of accounts opened by NAM1 with different names.
The Executive Director of EOCO, Mr. K.K Amoah told the media:
“What we are telling the public is that anyone with information on his other accounts should let us know because we believe he might have used different names to open such accounts and so friends, the family should let us know about other accounts.”
